Already making a stir on the scene is the new and exciting talent of DJ/Producer Martin Wright.  He has been one of the world’s most in-demand DJs for several years, and is currently best known for shining the light for Fierce Angels, Mark Doyle’s hugely successful brand, across the four corners of the world, as well as whipping up some dazzling new remixes which are set to be huge.

Martin spent most of his youth spinning vinyl and, realising his consuming passion for music wasn’t just a phase, he traveled to Hong Kong at 21 to duo alongside the legendary Lee Burridge and the pair kicked up a storm in the hottest venues across the city.

It wasn’t long until his talent for working crowds into a frenzy was spotted by the Innova DJ agency, and he found himself setting the tone at the most glamorous dancefloors in Singapore and Indonesia as a resident DJ for two years.
Returning to his home city of Birmingham with his new signature brand of sexy, vocal house, Martin decided to revive the UK club scene and took up hugely successful residencies at Stoodi Bakers, Toots and Liberty’s, moving onto the legendary Miss Moneypenny’s as well as current residencies at Fuel, Promise and Spin.

He’s supported headline DJs from Calvin Harris, Annie Mac, Mark Knight, Seamus Haji & Sandy Rivera to Danny Rampling and Alistair Whitehead, and played alongside everyone from StoneBridge and Soul Central to Brandon Block and K-Klass.

With accomplishments like these under his belt, Martin was quickly spotted by Hed Kandi creator Mark Doyle, who picked Martin as one of the select group of resident DJs for his glorious new brand Fierce Angels.

Known far and wide as Fierce Angels’ most fearless DJ,  and more recently one of the new resident DJs to join the highly acclaimed ‘Gatecrasher’ brand.  Martin often takes up some of the farthest-flung gigs to bring  both the fabulous Fierce & Gatecrasher brands to the four corners of the world, including Columbia, Jakarta, Canada and Dubai.

But it isn’t all disco balls and dance floors for Mr Wright – he’s also Music Editor of the cult 69 Magazine in the West Midlands, as well as a highly-esteemed tutor at The DJ Academy, where he devotes weekends at a time to training up the hot new DJ talent of tomorrow’s dancefloors.

His passion, though, remains producing.  And this summer sees Martin return to the studio to deliver remixes for artists like Lilly Allen & Professor Green, McClean, Seamus Haji, Melissa Indot, Vanessa Amorosi, The Fierce Collective and Cassette Club; and new productions under his own DJ name plus other guises  (Fast Trak/Lopez Twins/Disco Lunatics/Rogue Elementz)  on the  forthcoming  labels Stealth, Fierce Angels, Warner Music, Ministry Of Sound, Stoney Boy Music, Disc Doctor, Big In Ibiza, Suka, Rezonation, Axis Trax & Muzik-K Records, all very soon.  Martin is set to become one of the new kids on the block.
